When developing this project, I began by thinking to myself: What would my world look like if the Bay of Pigs Invasion would have been successful? From this question, I created the concept for a conference that would join together two generations of Cuban people, those that had lived in Cuba and those in my generation who identify as Cuban- American. Due to the fact that my generation is now going out into the work force and beginning to create families of our own, this conference would be dedicated to an open discussion about what the next move of the Cuban people will be. How should we raise our children to keep true with Cuban tradition? Should we go back to Cuba? What can we do for the Cuban people as a generation of Cuban- Americans? .

The Theory
The Theory is an album and tour concept created for Grand Master Flash that would take place in the Bronx, New York. The tour would entail visiting different high schools in the area in order to give them a show that ties together Math and Science through the use of Hip Hop history. Grand Master flash often admits that he would be nowhere without his knowledge of math and science. This is because he believes that they were the foundation to his Quick Mix Theory. It was this theory that made him one of the three founders of hip hop and cemented his name in history forever. Teaming up with the South Bronx Educational Foundation, this tour would hopefully raise money to further education in this area.
